Wilderness First Aid provides information on how to handle common injuries and illnesses when medical care is an hour away or more. This one day course is great for hikers, climbers, and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as Search & Rescue crews, Firefighters, and EMS personnel. Students will learn to assess a patient, recognize altitude illness, treat wounds from sprains and fractures, treat insect and animal bites, and more.
Students will receive a WFA eBook (included). Certifications are valid for two years and EMS providers will receive 6.5 continuing education hours (5 med/trauma and 1.5 other).
